Weekly Check-in...what have I been up to?

Hi sweet friends!

Wow...today is NOT a good day health
wise for me.  I awoke mid night to a migrane that
just leaves its awful after affects.  Just know,
if you suffer from headaches and migranes...
I truly know how you feel!

I must admit also, that I have been struggling
to keep in an *up* mood.  Not sure if its the
cooler weather changes, my headache or looming to do's that
the Holiday season seem to bring.  Do any of you
out there feel this way?

I am also struggling as to whether to
continue blogging.  I so enjoy my sweet
followers, but lately many come by to visit my
blog...but few leave me a comment.
I am not sure why that gets me down...
but it does...I really would like to know if I am
just wasting my time or is what I share
relevant...just thinking out loud here.

Okay enough keeping it real today.

A week or so ago I shared that I may be adding
my *creations* to a local store...in Belleville call
Sweet Chateau.  I was also asked by the owner to
Paint on her store front windows...yes lil ole
me felt so honored to do this.  I will be doing this
on Wednesday.  In talking with my friend...I had
taken a mirrored vintage window she had and
she asked me today to paint it similar to
how we has discussed painting on her windows.
So I thought you all might enjoy seeing what I
whipped up today...yep even with a headache!

I haven't heard back from her yet about what she
thinks...I sure hope she likes it!

Be Blessed,
Lorena

Sorry for your migraine...I definitely understand as I have suffered with them my whole life. You truly can't understand them unless you have had to deal with one!

I know what you mean about comments, followers, etc. I don't have many followers so I really notice when I lose one and it really hurts my feelings. I want to know why they quit following me. I try not to let it get to me but it does. I have the same issue with comments-people stop but don't say anything. I am guilty of that myself because sometimes I don't know what to say or I don't want anyone to think I am stupid. Keep doing what you are doing because you have a lot of talent!

Hi Lorena,
I think we all feel the same way as you from time to time. Blogging can be very time consuming, stessful and the most wonderful thing too. We just have to keep a balance.
I for one read so many blogs when I can and don't always leave comments. It doesn't mean that I don't enjoy what they have to say because I enoy reading them. Not everyone leaves a comment on mine either but I like knowing they at least stop by to see what I have.

I love your painted window. It's so pretty.

hugs

I didn't mean to go on so LONG-Denise

Your windows are beautiful and so is your blog.
I know how migraines really can take a toll on you I used to have them so bad.
I also feel how you feel about blogging since I do not have a lot of followers or very many comments. But I just remind myself of why I started blogging.
Enjoy your day!!!

Hello sweet Lorena,
Oh, please don't stop blogging. We would surely miss you! I would miss you!
Your mirror is gorgeous and I'm sure your friend will love it. You do beautiful work!

I can sympathethize with you concerning migraines because I suffered with them for years which were jump started by the spinal I had when I had my first baby. I usually had to make a trip to ER once a month for a shot which would put me off my feet for a couple of days.

TESTIMONY TIME:
Then one day, after many years of pain and prayer, the Lord told me {yes, He did!} that He would heal my migraines. He didn't tell me when, only that He would. Then one day, a little less than a year later, they were gone. I hadn't even noticed until I was cleaning out the medicine cabinet one day and it hit me that I hadn't had to take any migraine meds for months! I was so happy! And I haven't had one since. Praise the Lord!

I will pray for you. Hope you feel better soon and do take care.

Blessings and hugs,
Sandi
