Good Middle of the Week to ya (Hump Day)

First off today, I wanted to share with you out there in blogland that I will be joining Rhondi of Rose Colored Glasses as she is having a the first ever Share your Porch with others. This will be happening on June 5th, which is tomorrow. Now I don't have much of a porch...but I will show you our walk way up to our front door.

HUMP DAY...fondly known as Wednesday...(I hope this doesn't offend anyone!)
This morning as I was opening my blinds, I looked out again and saw a GORGEOUS, and I mean GORGEOUS large bushy Lilac bush in my back neighbors yard. I just knew what I was blogging about today. For those of you who know me, my roots are in the GREAT PACFIC Northwest...this gray, drizzly type of rain is known as LIQUID SUNSHINE! But that does not mean that I could not go out and take pictures of all the different plans that are in bloom...don't ya just love spring!

Okay...here's the gorgeous Lilac bush I get to see from my kitchen window! It really looks so much more vibrant in person...just could not get a good picture!
These sweet yellow buds are part of my front yard ground cover...assylum I believe.
These happy fuscha color ground geraniums come back every year...they are all around my brick pavers patio. Love them this time of year!!!
These are fluffy lavender blooms are CHIVES! If you look in the background...you can see my "Cracked Pot" collections...I know I have a bad sense of humor! lol
More of my geraniums

I just love hosta's...they have the prettiest green foilage and come back every year...more geraniums peeking thru!
These are the first blooms of my colorful daisy's that I have also around our patio walkway.

LOOK AT THE SPECIAL AWARD I JUST RECEIVED!!!

Oh...Look what has come my way via Sweet Sherry of Eddie Maries Attic...I had the honor and privilege of receiving the Arte Y Pico award from Sherry. What an Honor and privaledge this is, thank you SO much Sherry! I so appreciate the wonderful people I have met out there in blogland!

Here are the rules:

1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider
deserving of this award for their creativity,
design, interesting material, and also contribute
to the blogging community, no matter what
language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the
author and a link to his/her blog to be visited
by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and
put the name of and link to the blog that
presented her/him with the award (I know
it says this is a rule , but I know not everyone
likes to do this, so I won't be upset if you don't.)
4. The award winner and one who has given the
prize have to show the link of "Arte y Pico blog
so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5. To show these rules.

Now for the fun yet very hard part... to choose

I *do* love that lilac-those are one of my faves, esp when they get big and are pruned like that! I can't wait to see the progress of your new room so please share!
My girls have always loved their piano and practice has not been a chore (well, most of the time!)
I appreciate your words on trust-they're very timely!
