You have seen this pictures before...only now its got things on it and all around it. I am using the baskets to put things in and bring them up the stairs.
Oh this is so exciting! I took this bottom shelf out of my daughters bath room. I layed in on its side. Then I found this cardboard SHOE Organizier for $2.99 at a thrift store. It fits those plastic shoe holders perfectly! NOW...I can have my crafting embellishments handy but out of the way...a perfect organizer! Then on top are my *garage style organizers* (you know, the ones with all those small little drawers?) that I spray painted a soft pink..one was blue the other black...quite an improvement over what they were. They tie in nicely with everything!
Lastly here's a shot of my closet. I do have quite a lot of room in it...and for inquiring minds I do have my doll collections up on top of the shelf. All the plastic containers hold my various fabrics, yarns and batting and I the shelves to the left are awaiting more of my stuff from the basement. But I solved a HUGE problem and am so happy with how I rigged w/ wire and dowling a ribbon holder using the pole for hanging clothes on.
So...you see...I have been BUSY!
Have a blessed day everyone! Lorena

Lorena, I've done the same thing before in our other house with the ribbon holder. I used chains, stuck a dowel through it and hung ribbons on that. Worked really well. I can imagine even hanging them from the ceiling if no other space is available! Nice work, my sweet chickadee!!!!
Smoochies,
Connie
I can't BELIEVE how the room is coming along. Really nicely done. I love the color! I have a lot of those garage part drawers for my mosaic tiles and they are all that are industrial gray or bright red. I never thought about painting them pink. Shame on me but thanks to YOU for the great idea!
Looks great Lorena !! :) Great storage pieces. :) What a happy place to work in !
Lorena your room is coming along so nice! I'm getting lots of ideas from you! I got two of the satin hankie boxes like you did. I went to that blog, I love all her ideas she had on storage. Thank you for sending it my way. I finally got my post up for the award you gave me. I'm sorry it took so long but I'm new at this and it take me some time to get it all together. Thank you so much for the award! Blessings, Shirl
You are making such wonderful progress on your craft room! Good for you, that will be such a haven in the winter time, we can each blog and email each other about what we are making in our lovely craft rooms!
Are you still planning a trip out this way?? The price of airline tickets is just through the roof! And gas prices make it impossible to drive across country anymore! DARN IT ALL!
Thanks for coming by and saying hi, I am finding it really hard to find time to blog now that summer is here...the garden is calling my name the minute my eyes open in the morning!
Big Hugs Dear Friend!
XO,
DL

Wow! Your craftroom is coming along great! A room of your own to craft and sew where you can leave out your project in progress and come back to work on it when you have a few minutes. Wonderful!
Very nice finds for your storage! I love the gorgeous light you have there and it looks pretty roomy! I've just gone through all this too, and boy -- is it wild, with everything in baskets and boxes or in the middle of the room! Well, you have a terrific start -- can't wait to see the finished results1
