I WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP!

The picture above is of 2 items I am using in my new craft room. The vintage desk was already painted in a shabby crisp white. Now behind this you can see a corner shelf that I have painting in heirloom white...a tad creamier in color. All my other pieces that I am doing for this room will be in the creamy heirloom white.

MY Question to you all...should I paint the white desk to match everything else? or do you think it will be fine white....I want to do it now, while I am doing everything else, cause once I set my room up, I may not have the opportunity to paint it.

Please fill out my Poll that I have done...I'd really appreciate the help! THANKS!!!

Below are some pieces that I have just finished today. The small bookcase below was snatched up at a garage sale for $3!!!

This is vintage 1960's buffet. I bought this many moons ago, from my mom. It was a beautiful walnut piece, but just does not fit anthing I have...I wanted to create a hutch with this adding an old bookcase, that fits just perfectly on top. I had my hubby add bun feet and took off tapered original feet. When this is set up in my room I will make sure you see it!
Top for the buftet piece I have above!
I still need another coat of paint to cover the pale mint green the insides used to be....but I am finally making so more progress in getting things ready for my new room...I am off to go put a light covering overing my primed areas on the wall so we can paint everything.

Hugs...Lorena

Well, I love things all different shades of white, BUT, since EVERYTHING is in the off white , I would go ahead and repaint the desk. Sorry !! You will be happier with it later. :) Looking great though !! You have gotten a lot done chickie !! :)

Lorena I agree with Rhea, to me the mixing of whites and creams can be a difficult mix. I think you will be happier if they are all the same white.

Lorena,
I vote to paint the desk heirloom white. That is the color we use at FYNA as our white and it's a great white. Also, check my blog when you get a chance because I posted some pictures of the party and the garden. Thanks for coming to the party. We really enjoyed having you girls at the shop!

Hi Lorena, I think I agree with everyone else, I would paint it in the off white. Your room is going to be beautiful! I can't wait to see it!

I think the desk would be great either way, but I voted creamy white. Can't wait to see when everything is all done!

Hi Lorena! Oh, I can't wait to see your new room. So glad you are getting so much done! I love that tiered corner shelf. Granddaughter has one of those in her room here.

I voted for creamy white just for consistency.

Hi Lorena!
Whatever you chose for your desk will be perfect! I don't mind a mixing of whites, off-whites & beiges but it depends on the what shades of each you mix together. If it is pleasing to your eye it's ok. If you question it there may be a conflict. I just know your craft room is going to be fabulous! Can't wait to see it done!
