Treasure Mart Stash

Well...last night my dear sweet hubby took my daughter and I to see the new Indiana Jones Movie. So, that meant that I didn't get back in to unpack and show you my stash from my TREASURE Mart trip. Now I don't always come away feeling like I get my treasures for Thrift Store Prices...but many times you can find $1, $2 or $3 items or things you might just not find anywhere else cause its been in someones home for a looooooong time. These treasures were all under $25, so I was pretty pleased.

This sweet little box just stole my heart! I love anything w/children on it and the price was right at $1. I am thinking it was a playing card box or had some type of cards in it.
Doesn't she have the sweetest face? And those are ROSES she is holding in her hands! Just the right combo for me.
A $2 set of glass salt/pepper shakers for glitter and beads for my craft room!
This is a larger than usual find. These cake covers/plate get my shabby chic trash to treasure make overs soon!

Last, this was my favorite find. I am not sure how old this is but the packaging was unique and has a New York, NY address. The pretty blue/pink ribbon lace was what caught my eye. For my lace stash and it will be put to good use on my tea cozy's that I make.
So there you go..another successful day out shopping...something I do best!!!
Have a blessed day and please don't be shy to leave a message. I love reading your comments and will try and respond if I can.
Lorena

Hi Lorena, wow you hit the jackpot. I love that sweet little box with the children and the angel does have the sweetest face. Salt shakers are great for glitter, cake dishes look so pretty after you add your beautiful roses and the lace is just superb!
Great day for you!

Hi Lorena, Wow you found some darling treasures and I love the old box with the children on it. What an incredible place to shop. You would have to drag me out of there. Next time I am in Michigan I may have to go visit Ann Arbor. How's the room redo coming along? I know you are busy! Did you enjoy the movie? We may go tonight.
Have a great weekend.
love ya, Celestina

Treasure Mart is one of my favorite stops -- my idea of a perfect day is Treasure Mart, Zingermann's and Hollander's (and oh, if I were ever so flush, dining at Eve! That's my favorite part of Ann Arbor and I consider all I save at TM extras for the rest of the holiday! You found some terrific things. My friend Jane and I always have the "ugliest thing" contest too! Hooray -- glad to see you feature this wonderful spot!

Great finds Lorena. I never leave TM without something in my car! There is always a buy there.

That storm last night WAS HORRIBLE! We had a bit of a flood in the shop from it that took all morning to clean up. Nothing was damaged, but what a mess!

You sure found some great stuff! I like that cake cover. It reminds me of one my mother had that had a little wooden carved acorn for the top handle. Wish it was still in the old house, but I think my brother got rid of it.

Hi Lorena!
I was so excited to see the Treasure Mart! My girlfriend, Cindy, and I go there often when I'm in Toledo and have a day to go to Ann Arbor! It is our favorite "junk"/antique place. We like the little shopping area that's right by there where they have the farmers market on Saturdays, Kerry Town.
Great photos! Just like being there. We also like to go to a great deli, Zingermans, by there for one of their fabulous brownies, mmmmm.
Have you seen the fairy doors in Ann Arbor? I love them.
Hugs, Sherry

Good evening Lorena!
What a lovely stash of goodies you found, and the prices are wonderful too! How is your craft room coming along these days?? I bet it has been hot out there huh?...we have been having really hot weather too, I know you probably already heard from you family, but it got up into the 90's for a couple days now it is back around 80! I am so happy and just loving this great weather, been waiting all dreary winter for it to kick in, PTL!!!

Take care and keep in touch!
