Welcome dear friends!
Today I am going over to visit my dear 83 year old friend.
And I wanted to share her special retreat with you and
pictures I took when I went over to visit her.
I am so glad I took my camera because I knew you
all would LOVE seeing how you can transform
a sweet lil apartment with less than 1000 sqft into
a charming Cottage retreat.
My friend, Mary's color palet is soft peachy pinks and sage
greens...with loads of florals all over!
Her sofa really has those color in it and showcases
the cottage feel she wants. She also has
gorgeous vintage pieces with touches of
Victorian all over.
Loads of eye candy and wonderful vintettes everywhere!
My favorite pieces is this *Soap Display* cabinet that
houses her lovely china...do you see the
pretty trims in there too?
Here's another look with her lacy window covers.
If you look real hard, the window with all the greens and
florals actually hides a door...so clever!
More sweet vinettes!
Love these vintage pictures and how she has used them.
Isn't this the coolest shaped clock? Mary had me
paint and floral this up a few years ago..it is such
a yummy green with soft roses.
This hall tree was also a paint job she had me do for her!
I just LOVE how she has displayed her vintage goodies!
Okay...that's part one...I have more pictures and
will take some more today as I visit my
sweet friend.
I feel so blessed to know this sweet lady. We are such
kindred spirits and I always love my visits and the
fact that we enjoy so many of the same things.
I marvel at how she has transformed this tiny aparment
into her home. She has been in this apartment and is the
manger for over 20 years.
I believe she shows us that you can take where-ever
you live and make it your own.
Thanks for allowing me to share this today with you.
Blessings,
