TEA POT Treasures

GOOD Morning,

My PINKaliscous Friends!

Oh Today I decided to share with you

another collection!

Teapots were probably one of the

very first things I began to collect

when my hubby and I first got married

almost 24 years ago.

And...

just like us,

they come in many shapes and sizes.

My favs are usually bone China

made in England...yet,

I am not going turn one away

just because its not made in England

if I LOVE it.

These mostly reside in my BLUE

dining Room...with my Tea Cups as well.

This shelf is inside a wall in my dining room.

I took a book or video shelf

and turned it into a

wonderful TEA Pots display.

I use the top Tea Pot the most for Steeping

because of its size.

Below, this tea cozy was given to me by

my sister for a birthday...its a fav of mine!

Yep, that blue Teapot Is actually a lamp

I also love this Tea Cup for one...a dear friend gave it to me.

So many differing shapes and sizes.

I didn't want to teaze ya to much so I

also included a closer look at some of my

Tea Cups hanging above the shelf.

I never tire of their beauty.

Many have been given to me

as gifts.

Some I have found on clearance.

Whatever their story,

I love them all

just the same!

Yes, I also have used many to steep a HOT

batch of my favorite Spiced Tea.

I also have this darling Plant stand that

I turned into a display fo whatever my fancy is.

Spring Has Come to My Studio!

Hello you Dear Friends!

I cant wait to share what

I have been up too these past few days!

With warming, sunny days here in

Southeast Michigan my

spirits have soared into a

Springy smile!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

SPRING.

Even my color anaylsis for things

I should wear tells me I am...

YEP...

a SPRING.

Also, whenever I can I love to

repurpose things.

Many Items I am using this year

for my spring goodies to

sell in my ETSY store have

been repurposed

and

given a new life.

The above nut cup was done up in soft pinks and aqua.

I also reused an egg I had and painted and dressed it up with

vintage forget-me-nots!

This lil sweety all in pinks and aquas was

given to a dear lady who had her 83rd

Birthday Yesterday.  If you look real

close you can see that I was

getting it readied to give to her.

Then today I began working with those little

MOTT's applesauce containers...LOOK...

How sweet this came out.

I used an Easter fabric of colored eggs..bright

happy colors and an

 aqua egg tucked inside too!

And then...today I finished this sweet lil

Bunny FuFoo...she's sitting sweetly among

the grass and flowers..with eggs

waiting for a new home!

For fun I did up some fun Cone

Sparkly Tree's!  The purple one has the

prettiest Easter glitter on it..that

just does not show well in my pictures!

Loaded with BLING too!

Oh and I am also working on my SWAP

I am doing for 2 sweet gals!

PINK Saturday

Happy, Happy PINK!!!

Its PINK Saturday again...doesn't Saturday

seem to come quick each week!

I found a few of my favorites in my home

to share.  Many some have possibly

seen already..so if that's the

case, I apologize.

I love this sweet Card/picture holder.

My hubbys grams sewing machine...in which I have spread

some vintage and new post cards on.

I visited her blog today and was very convicted.

She is an encourager I can sooooo tell...

and loves to give away cards.

She shared today from her heart about

 how she asks GOD to

bring to mind someone who may need

a little note.

Often I have been on the receiving end.

Many cards these past few years from dear

ones who have loved and encouraged me.

I need to be more in tune with this in

my own life.

I am asking GOD to make me more aware of,

and write to those he brings

to mind.

I hope to challenge my sweet readers

to ponder and maybe brighten

someones day too!

Sweet Lil Vintage Planters

Hey, Sweet Blogging Friends!

Today as I am restless for SPRING.

I decided to showcase a few

of my Planter collection that I have

been amassing in recent years.

Are you like me? Do you

pick something up because you absolutely

LOVE

it?

And then, before you know it,

you have created yet again

another

collection?

That's how this collection of mine happened.

This is a vintage shelf that I have

left in its original dark stain and it

fit so well in my Victorian Parlor.  I just had to

fill it with some of my vintage

planter pieces.

Some close ups of a few of these sweeties.

Shhhhhhhhh....don't tell anyone about the dust, ok?

This piece above is probably the one I have

had the longest...since before I was married.

I found this cutie last year...don't know if he's

old or not...but the painter in me really likes him!

My newest one...a steal for $3 at Treasure Mart

in Ann Arbor!

And last but not least,

this darling pink girl pushing a pram!

Isn't she the most darlingest thing you've ever seen?

I do have a few more up in my room...

hmmmmmm

I may go take some pictures of them

when I finish here.

These are such happy figures and I need

that right now during the in-between periods

before spring hits here in Michigan.

Good Day My Pink

Loving Friends!

I have continued my obession with mosaics and created

another one for your PINK pleasure!

I even threw in a pretty PINK Rose sweater

I found while thrifting during the Holidays.

Who says you cannot wear pink and

roses at the same time? I do! lol

I even had to show you a ROCK I found from

a vendor at a local Farmers Market.

This guy gets the flat river rocks and can

carve anything you want...CREATE

really is what I am about!

We've GOT More Snow!

Hey there blogging friends...

Well...we are finally getting some of that

snow, again, that has

avoid the SE Michigan (Detroit Metro) area.

Today we awoke to probably 7-8 inches of

the fluffy white stuff.

Its sooooooooooooo puuuurty

when it is FRESH

and unspoiled...

dontcha think?

So I did a quick mosaic up of just some of the

stacks of the fun white stuff.

Sending Ya Some Roses!

Hello...My Dear Friends!

WOW..is the SUN ever bright here in

Southeast Michigan today! 

We have had

some very dreay gray days, as of late,

and

I am sitting here wishing

I could be in my Favorite place...

Jacksonville, Florida.

So I had been seeing a few of my dear friends

who had those need mosaics and

I found out where they did them.

Thought you might enjoy seeing some of my

favorite past goodies

I have done.

I am feeling like I need to get back to my

passion.

My passion of painting roses.

So the above tiles show some of my creations.

You will see More of my handpainted goodies.

These show some of my Pastry and

sweet lil boxes I love to make...plus

a pink custion as well!
