IT's DONE (Well Almost)

So inquiring minds have been asking me how my Craft Room Project is going. My painting walls, organizing crafts and paints, arranging and getting all settled into my room are completed. What I have not done yet, is have my dear hubby cut a peice of peg board for a large frame I am going to put over my sewing table, put up any pictures or maybe a message/memo board...and possibly even a long large shelf on my longest wall. And lastly, I am putting my drafting table in the center of my room to use for painting or as a cutting board.

Okay, to be nice to all you sweeites out thar, I decided I would show you all what is done...it looks all pretty and neat...but I can assure you that even as I sit here today, it has stuff on the floor and more work to do...lol . You see, I have put off posting this, cause I am cleaning out the room I had originally used and arranging that. My basement in the process was speaking to me that it needed a good cleaning...so that's how a major Craft Room Redo can lead to 100 little other projects..that seem to never end! Does anyone else ever have this problem? lol

The top 3 pictures are all of my sewing blogging area. I have yet to get my lap top up in the room..but then again, I haven't still had time to craft or paint yet...but soon!
I wanted to share this picture and point out my *Tag Tree*. This has such sweet inspiration behind it. I have a wonderful group a friends, who over the past few years have sent me these tags and little goodies I have hung all over it. They make me feel LOVED and I wanted to keep it where I could see it daily.
My trash to treasure redo on the hutch/buffet and then I married the 2 peices together. They have such great storage and display potential!
Another trash/treasure redo...my $8 corner shelf! What a steal!!!

I am sure for a lot of people this is way to busy...but I am so visual that if I don't keep out what I have...I might as well not have it cause I forget its there. So I have put most of my things out in the room for me to see them.
I sure hope that I can keep this room looking somewhat like this. I hope you have enjoyed your tour of my Craft Room Redo...More to come when EVERYTHING is finished....so keep checking back!

Blessings...Lorena

Hi Lorena, Your room is fantastic and so organized. Everything is at your fingertips and that is perfect. I am like you, it I can't see it, I forget it. LOL! You did such a wonderful job and I know how much work is involved from doing my own. Your talent for the details shows through. I also love the soft colors in the room. I could spend a lot of time there. What an inspiration to create in. Just perfect. Hope you have a nice 4th of July. Stay safe and enjoy!

Hi, Lorena, and thank you so much for stopping by! How fun it was to visit your blog, and especially to learn a few more places to shop around our adopted home of Michigan!

Yeah, the mitten thing, and people who use their hands to show where they live - ha ha! We live at the tip of the Thumb, having moved up here from Ohio last year. And we love it.

I laughed out loud at your studio description of stuff lurking on the floor...I haven't posted any photos of my studio yet for that reason... but someday I'll muck it out again and shoot it.

I've added you to my faves and will check back often to see what you're creating and to watch for more great places to shop!

Hope you're having a lovely holiday!

Lorena,
Hi. I found you from, Rhonda's blog and I'm adding you to my Great Gals blog. Let me say, your craft room is great. Mine doesn't even have sheet rock, just a window, lights and cement floor. That is a project just waiting. There is stuff everywhere. I do have tables, shelves, etc, just need sheetrock, paint, cabinets, flooring, etc. Stop by and visit me. P.S. I'm going to see/hear Beth Moore this month as she will be here in MN. Can't wait. I did her Bible Study called, Believing God. WOW. I could go on...Bye new friend. Warmly, Deb

I have never seen so many paints in my life !! lol That Hutch is just perfect for the room, I am really proud of you for plugging away and getting this done. Plus you have inspired me to get up the courage to start working on my home again. :)And for that i thank you dear friend. I cant wait to see your ribbon shelf. I am hoping this works, lol As I am tired of rummaging through a box. lol.
