HUGE Praise ~ A JOB~ THANKFUL Heart!!! * PINK Saturday*

Thanks so much for stopping by today and helping me
CELEBRATE!!!

I am also joining Beverly in a very special PINK Saturday.
We are celebrating inspirational stories and supporting
for Collettes makeover reveal which was sponsored
  by GuidePost.
blog to see what is going on.

I have been sitting on this announcement for quite some time.
Waiting for all the final details to fit into place.
Through 2 years of an emotional Roller Coaster,
my hubby was offered a wonderful job.
Negotiations have taken almost 2 months!!!
And we are hopeful that his start date should be
around the 1st of September.

Hubby will be commuting 3 hours south to Indiana for
this new job.  As a married couple, this will be a
challenge as we have never lived apart like this.
Right now it is necessary.
This company that hubs will
be working for is in the process of moving their
facilities to the Chicago area. At that time, it would
then be necessary for us to move as
the company would help with relocation costs at that time.

So, that means my daughter who is starting college and
I will stay in our home and hubs will commute on weekends.
He's NOT looking forward to this, so I ask that
you'd keep him in prayers for his mental health
and safety as he commutes and works for our family.

We are so THANKFUL that God has heard our prayers
and opened this job up for us.  In the gloom
and doom or our country economy, GOD still is at work and
opens up doors, in his time.

A HUGE thank you to those who have prayed for us.
Thank you for your words of wisdom and cheer
when there was no job in sight.  I have
been so blessed by my sweet bloggy friends
who have prayed and loved me through this
very long ordeal!

To GOD be the Glory!

My dear Lorena,
I am sooo happy to hear this news! God is a Big God, as Hubby always says, and He will look after your hubby, you, and DD. He will help you find your new home and help with all the moving arrangements too when the time comes.
I am so happy for you all and I will indeed pray that the Lord will be with your hubby as he travels back and forth.
There was a time when my hubby had to travel too and we got through it just fine mostly because we were so thankful he had finally gotten work! We really enjoyed it when he was home! Those were very special times as I recall.
Praise God! Big hugs!

Blessings,
Sandi

So happy for you. Time will go by fast and soon you will be back together. My husband was in the military so we spent many years traveling from post to post. I loved the anticipation of a new place, new people and many new things to see. Wishing only good things for you and your family.

I guess you have to look at this as a door closed & now a window opened. My DH has driven truck for 40 years & we still live apart for days at a time. You will survive....
As far as the chance of moving just look at it as a great adventure!!
Prayers for your & everyones smooth adjustment.
Love,
Marilyn

Rejoicing with you for this answer to prayer.

I must tell you, this post encouraged my heart alot, as our family is in the process of praying for a job for hubby...because we want to relocate back to the South. We miss living close to family, and we hate the winters up North. But the economic climate of the country makes it seem like a job is impossible...but in God's time, he will open a door, just as he did for your husband.

Hope it's a job that is above and beyond all he could have imagined.

Blessings,
Patti (Fill My Cup with Beauty)

Congratulations, It breaks my heart that a post of this kind is so wonderful, we just never in our lifetime thought that the economy could be so bad that we would be rejoicing that your husband has a job that won't bring him home at night. You know of course that your are one of the lucky ones. I am so sad for the times, but so thrilled for you. Celebrate and give thanks!!

Happy Pink Saturday, Lorena. Thank you for making Pink Saturday special, and for taking part in this day of celebration and thanks.

There truly are miracles going on all around us every day. We just have to open our hearts in acceptance. I am so happy this blessing of a job has come to your family. I will keep you all in my prayers as you adjust to this transition.

Hallelujah! I am so happy for you and your husband. This is the second blog I've been to this weekend with this wonderful news. My husband has been unemployed for just over a year and you've given me so much inspiration! I will keep you and your family in my prayers as you adjust to this new life.

Hi Lorena Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and Miracle Weekend too...
What a beautiful miracle you have to share today. A wonderful job for dear Hubby. Distance always makes the heart grow fonder. Sometimes we take things for granted and it will make your weekends that much more special. God does everything in baby steps, with a reason for each step. It just means maybe a better deal on a house at that time, who knows what miracles are just waiting to happen at the RIGHT time. Remind Hubby to be patient with the Lord he works his own schedule and as with his job it will pay off big. You and DD will be protected, you have the biggest guy of all watching over all of you.

Thank you for sharing your miracle in our weekend celebration. I am so thrilled that you joined us. Please stop by and leave a comment on my blog. I am one of the (5) places that Guideposts Magazine will donate a $1.00 for every comment left. I so want to storm the heavens with miracles. Thank you sweet friend. Many hugs on this special day of miracles, Sherry

I AM PRAISING GOD for this HUGE answer to prayer! YOU CAN DO THIS! When my two children were tiny (3 and 6 months) we moved to Oklahoma and my guy was stuck in Dallas for 9 months. It was VERY HARD...more on my man than me because I had the kids to keep me busy. In the end his transfer came through and in the midst of it all we learned some HUGE lessons about life and how desperately we loved each other.

God always makes a way...doesn't He?

Love you girly~
