So I am making more progress in my cleaning and deocarting..but not much to see picture wise just yet. I would love some help from my friends, though! Or in other words...other eyes to see what I might be missing. Now please be nice...lol!!!
I am also glad for pictures..cause I see a need to elevate or change up a few things already...so since this is in the works...I'd love to hear your advice.
PIX #1
In picture #1 I have brought out my creammy pottery and mixed a few Easter/Spring things.
Picture #2 I added 2 green plates...now before you get all bothered..I know the plates on not in the same place...do you like it on the far ends..or mixed in with the other stuff?
Pix #2
So which do you prefer...or not?
Thanks...looking forward to hearing what you might say!

How cute is THAT?!
I like the green plates and I prefer them not to be in the same spot on either end. I think it's more visually interesting.
Actually, I like it better with just the cream pottery and not the green plates. My daughter and I disagree sometimes! LOL

I like the first pic, more monochromatic. I think the flow is better, but what do I know?

I like the right side with the green plate. I'm wondering how it would looke with the yellow vases on the ends and the white on the inside of the dark candleholders. I like the separationg between the middle white piece, though. Not sure what it would like like, but would like to see what it looks like.
Love the creamy pottery. Not much for green... personal opinion. Are you going to add some silk greenery??
Have a Restful Evening!!

First let me say I have seen pretty much all of your home and it is one the most beautifully decorated I have ever seen. So if anyone doesn't like your style they can just *)#(%*&% off. And then, I'll speak with them!
I like it without the plates. The addition of them seems too cluttered to me.
It's hard though sometimes in pics it doesn't capture it really. I've taken many pics of my newly redone bedroom and the pretty stuff in it looks terrible in pictures, but in person it's very nice!
Hi Lorena,
Thank you for visiting my blog. I see you do indeed have many pieces of the Rose Chintz. I think it's the most friendly, pretty, and romantic pattern, don't you? I absolutely love it! As for your mantle, Well, I'm a more monochromatic person, so I would go with all the cream. But that's just me. You have some wonderful pieces and you should do what makes you happy! Have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi Sweetness! I love your style of decorating!! Always!! You & I are so much alike ~ we both love to put ALL our stuff out. I've found it sometimes help to "clump" items together closer instead of spreading them out, & to use different levels like you do for your little Easter trees to add visual interest & height. Shoot, you might even try putting the tall candles together on one end, maybe with a few pretty leather books under one of them for height. Whatever you end up with will be great ~ you always inspire me!
Love you,
Stephanie

I like them both! The green does look more springy and colorful!
Hope you stop on by for my 1st Blogoversary/100th post celebration! I'm even having a giveaway! Do come on over! Everyone is invited!!! :)
Hello !!
I think adding some "greens" might make it pop!!! and maybe some books under things to give more height to your pretties!
Hope you are having a good weekend.
Warmly,
Deb :)
Lorena,
Looks like you're having fun and that's the most important thing. I would probably group some of the same colors together and vary the height a bit more. But that's just my two cents worth. Hope you are having better weather than we are here. Have a good week. You're in my prayers. Love and hugs, Victoria Lynn
